Incoming material inspection
Incoming steel is checked for heat number, grade and appearance before production.
Incoming material is checked against heat numbers, size and mill certificates, with appearance and dimension sampling. Nonconforming lots are quarantined and kept off heading and heat-treatment lines.
Records stay with the lot for export documents and customer traceability.
